Scholarship Application 

DEADLINE STRICTLY ENFORCED: FRIDAY, February 18, 2019

You must submit your materials through the Organization’s P.O. Box
post marked no later than February 18, 2019 

1. List high school activities (student government, sports, publications, school – sponsored community service programs, student-faculty committees, arts, music, etc.).

2. List public service and community activities (homeless services, environmental protection /conservation, advocacy activities, work with religious organizations, etc.).

3. List awards, scholarships, publications or special recognition you have received.

4.  Your essay must be at least 250 words describing your leadership in your school and or community, how these experiences are molding you into a future community leader,  and how your current experiences/skills can address the needs and concerns of the community.

The Nassau County Sheriff Department Scholarship Award Application Process

We the Nassau County Sheriff Guardians, have been in function since 2008, we have been a positive force in the community, reaching out to schools, clothing drives, and now our first annual scholarship award presentation.  We ask that the applicant, complete the application, with three (3)  attached reference letters from either teachers, school administrators, your local church or politician.
Applicant must be a senior completing their last year in high school and receiving their diploma by June 2019.
Please adhere to all the deadlines for this application, so we can read each recipients application and process them
in a timely manner.  We look forward to hearing from you.
